Hoosier-Hiphop.com - How did you get started in the music business?
RADAMEZ - Initially I started out doing poetry around the indianapolis area. I've always written lyrics to industry songs over artists vocals . "The Cozy" was a spot for spoken word and social interaction amongst poets. I transitioned there with doing live hip hop shows with the house band that played for all the poets. From there I started putting together an album full of songs that I had written and recorded titled "listen to what Radamez sez". from there I did my own distribution locally on the streets and started going to local spots to perform. My break through spot as a stage performer before the Cozy was a place called Hey Chaz. There is where the music began to become more serious.
Hoosier-Hiphop.com -What's the history behind you and Concrete Beats?
RADAMEZ - Concrete Beats was a label ran by Seany D. whom I met at Hey Chaz. from there me and Seany build a team and a music relationship that would evolve into something epic at the time. We traveled and performed and created an album titled "Innovative" We had a very successful album release and sales of the album locally and some surrounding cities. I was titled the President and worked on exposing our brand and branching out of Indianapolis. I remain close to some of the artists connected to the label. I will always have have love for the crew as we created great music and history. Seany D and I still remain friends and record together.
Hoosier-Hiphop.com - It seems you are progressing at a steady pace? What has helped you grow your fan base?
RADAMEZ - I hired a great manager that helped me propel and grow as an artist. I stayed true to the music as much as possible. Traveling helps as I try to branch out to different cities such as New York, Atlanta and Miami. This is one of the most competitive businesses on the planet and everyone is trying to be that dude or that label. Heavy promotions such as street teams and publicists also helped gain some notoriety. I try to stay busy and continue to figure out ways to expand my brand.
Hoosier-Hiphop.com - The single "Choas" is banging. What was the inspiration behind that song and how did the whole concept come together?
RADAMEZ - I absorb everything around me and take mental notes whether I'm watching cnn, the housewives of atlanta, the colts play or the people around me. All of that is considered chaos along with other things that I witness in my life. I have an unorganized, organized chaotic life. I am into so many different things. the concept grew from those surroundings. If you see the video it also showcases a lot of what goes on in my mind. The end result is chaos.
RADAMEZ OFFICIAL VIDEO - CHAOS
Hoosier-Hiphop.com - Your sound is very different from alot of artist in the Indiana area. However, you seem to have a flow that demands attention. What advice would you give artists that's in that lane?
RADAMEZ - I would say continue to stick with what you know. Don't try to rap about stuff you don't know, have or never been through. It's ok to story tell sometimes, but you gotta at least be within the limits of reality and whats actually going on. music is creative and can be imaginative. It's ok to put a lil bit of fantasy in it.
Hoosier-Hiphop.com - Im sure people want to see you perform. Where can we see you performing in the next couple of months.
RADAMEZ - Feb 4th opening up for bone crusher more info TBA There are some shows thats will be announced this coming spring.

Hoosier-Hiphop.com - What words of advise would you give to an artist that is trying to get started in the game?
RADAMEZ -Don't get frustrated when your city doesn't support you the way you would like. You may have to venture off and seek acceptance elsewhere. It takes finances to do this business and a really good dedicated team that can see your vision with you. Be wise about the company you keep. Don't trust to many people and learn to do a lot of stuff on your own. Check on all the people that are working for you to make sure your TRIump

Has the world become so fucked up that people are now thrown off by nice gestures? We can do everything online; shop, date, video chat, read books, that we don’t need a social life. Or so it seems. I haven’t seen some people in years but with…
